Dear Visitors to Potsdam,
Our city is known worldwide for its palaces, gardens and many other unique features. But it would take a very long time to try to see all the sights on foot.
Our Tip for You:
Use our buses and trains to familiarize yourself with the city’s most beautiful locations just by looking out the window. Scheduled departures leave every 20 minutes or less. With Potsdam explorers in mind, we have created five special lines for tourists, along which the world-renowned palaces, gardens, parks and sights can be reached quickly. All these lines have well-known names, so you will immediately know where the journey is headed.

Buses X15, 605, 606 and 695 will take you to the city centre from the S Hauptbahnhof Potsdam (Central Station) via the Lange Brücke (Long Bridge). Buses X15 and 606 stop at the Filmmuseum Potsdam, near the Museum Barberini and the city’s historic Baroque centre. At Luisenplatz, a hub from which you can ride directly to Sanssouci Park and the city centre, there are stops for bus lines 605 and 695 as well as tram lines 91, 94 and 98. These buses also include the stop Schloss Charlottenhof (Charlottenhof Villa). It is not far from there to the Neues Palais (New Palace).

Are you in the mood for theatre, concerts or contemporary art? Then, take Tram 93 to visit the Schiffbauergasse cultural location. It’s only a few minutes by foot from the Schiffbauergasse/Berliner Straße stop.
Tram 93 will also take you to the “Bridge of Spies” ‒ the infamous Glienicke Bridge (Glienicker Brücke stop). From there, you’ll have a fantastic view of Babelsberg Park.

The Volkspark lines 92 and 96 head north from the S Hauptbahnhof Potsdam (Central Station) through the Baroque city centre,
where you can explore

Potsdam is also well-known as a film city. Bus 690 will take you directly to Filmpark Babelsberg with the Studio Babelsberg.
The route goes through the centre of Babelsberg, and you can take a detour to Babelsberg Palace.
If you’d like to do this, get off at Rathaus Babelsberg and walk towards Babelsberg Park or change to Bus 616. It stops at Schloss Babelsberg (Babelsberg Palace).

If you wish to visit Cecilienhof Country House – the site of the Potsdam Conference – it’s best to take Bus 603.
It departs from Platz der Einheit/West; get off at the Am Neuen Garten/Große Weinmeisterstraße stop, from where you can most easily reach this location.
By taking advantage of our 4-Trip and 24-Hour Tickets, you can conveniently and affordably use our tourist lines to explore all the sights in the city ‒ without missing anything.
